Magazines are still the preferred source of industry news and information for road transport fleet owners and managers.

Some 75% of respondents to the Transport Census 2012 say magazines are their preferred source of industry information, ahead of websites (52%), newspapers (49%), trade shows (41%), e-newsletters (29%), TV (24%) and radio (18%). ATN is clearly their preferred magazine.

The Transport Census 2012 found 70% ‘frequently’ or ‘regularly’ read the publication, compared with just 32% who read Prime Mover, 28% who read Truckin’ Life and 22% who read Diesel. And they are highly engaged, with 73% saying they read all or most of the magazine, pending an average of 1 hour and 16 minutes on each issue.
