NEW-LOOK GRAZIA LAUNCHES WITH SPECIAL RACING EDITION
October 02
Two months after editor Amy Molloy took over at the helm of Grazia, the magazine will relaunch this week with a makeover, sporting a revamped cover and a renewed editorial focus on fashion.
The redesign will debut on October 1st in a special “Big Racing Issue” – a collaboration with the Victoria Racing Club – and include 21 pages of race wear fashion and beauty ideas for any budget.
The issue also sees the introduction of two new regular fashion columns – a weekly news bulletin, plus a street-style column curated by a team of high-profile Australian fashion bloggers including Jessie Bush and Byron Spencer.
Staff additions include fashion director David Bonney – who styled this week’s cover girl Jennifer Hawkins – and former Marie Claire Associate Editor Alexandra Carlton, joining Grazia this month as deputy editor.
"With a new team now in place it’s a new chapter for the magazine,” says publisher Robyn Foyster. “There’s more fashion than ever in the updated Grazia, with a renewed focus on shopping to suit every budget – from high-street to luxury."
Amy Molloy says Grazia’s racing edition will be the first in a series of themed fashion issues planned for the coming months.
"Grazia produces 49 issues every year," she says. "We owe it to our readers to ensure every week our content is fresh and different.
"Over the next twelve months we’re planning some spectacular fashion shoots, and we also have some unexpected – and very stylish – cover stars in store. I can’t wait to see our readers’ reactions."
