ACP Magazines launches on Google Play

ACP Magazines today launched 17 of its titles in the new 'Magazines' tab on Google PlayTM* in Australia.
Australia’s favourite magazines, including The Australian Women’s Weekly and Woman’s Day, are now available for readers to purchase and download across a range of supported AndroidTM tablets and smartphones.
Google selected Australia to release its first international digital magazine store outside the USA following the successful launch of ‘Magazines’ in America last June.
To welcome new digital subscribers, ACP Magazines will offer the first issue of selected monthly subscriptions for free. Consumers can find these offers by selecting the new ‘Magazines’ tab in the Play Store app on their device.

Google Play is available on Android devices from a range of manufacturers. New purchasers of Google’s own Nexus 7 tablet will receive a bonus copy of ACP’s TechLife preinstalled on their device.

The service uses the power of the cloud to manage digital entertainment – so you can buy individual issues or subscriptions on your phone and have it available on your tablet instantly.
Google Play complements other digital options including interactive editions of The Australian Women’s Weekly, Gourmet Traveller, APC and TechLife for iPadTM, as well as a large range of digital replica editions available via the Magshop App for iPadTM, iPhoneTM and a range of Samsung tablets.
